Film-making for smartphones & compact cameras
Advances in technology have put the basic equipment for film making into affordable reach – in fact, if you have a modern smartphone, you already have almost everything you need.
What you’re missing is the knowhow – the skills and knowledge that make the difference between professional and amateur results.
On this course, we’ll develop your skills in filming and editing using smartphones and compact cameras.
We’ll look at every aspect of filming that a modern filmmaker needs to know about – whether you’re just starting off or already have a little experience, including scripting, lighting, sound and a whole lot more.
Plus we show how to edit your films using the free version of Avid Media Composer – the industry standard video editing software – as well as showing you how to get almost the same results with iMovie for the iPhone and iPad.
After completing this course, you will be able to write, prepare, shoot, edit your own films.
This course is administered and run by SSR in Manchester.
